knitting projects....

Here are some of the knitting projects that I have been working on lately. The pink baby item is called the "Little Sister" dress, knit for Octavio's little sister Perla. The doll is knit from the knitting book called Knitted Babes...She was fun to make. Green socks are a pair of monster socks called Ziggy...made using left over sock yarn, I wore them today and they were warm and soft too! The camel lace is a cowl neck scarf...knit for my friend Liz. Very much like the lace cowl that Sarah Palen wore during the election. And finally a pair of baby tiger socks for Baby Roy. He is a friends baby who is a year and a half, who admires hand knit socks, petting them and saying "petty"...so I knit him is own pair. I guess that he loves them and I will be knitting a couple more pairs for the little guy! I used puffy paint to make little paw prints and wrote "Roy Boy" on the bottom.

I am still working on 2 sweaters for myself, a baby sweater for baby Jude, a ear flap hat and a pair of socks. So who knows what I will finish next...or start next. I did just get two new patterns for hand knit wash clothes and soap sacks...good thing the pima cotton isn't near me!
